I'm a mental health advocate, human behavior analyzer, lover of all things psychology and neuroscience related, life and love writer, freethinker, and most importantly a truth teller. I value honesty, communication, compassion and empathy.

My goal is to start conversations that matter, to help break stigmas about mental illness, and to share ideas with each of you. My core belief is that we can do hard things in life, but we cannot do them alone.

Mental health, suicide prevention, human behavior, studying our big beautiful brains, and having meaningful relationships are my passions and I'm excited to share my experiences with you. I hold two degrees in Psychology- AAPSY and BA.

I’m happily married to a fellow human behavior enthusiast and filmmaker. We spend most of our time studying mindset and coming up with ways to battle stress and anxiety. We talk a lot about conflict resolution and relationships. He is part of what pushes me to constantly be learning and passing on what I know to help others.

In my spare time I also co-produce documentaries, I am a contributing mental health writer for The Mighty and on Medium.
